Online Courses

CS courses at DePauw that focus on a certain topic such as web development or cybersecurity are usually offered in either Spring or Fall exclusively, and it may be hard to get enrolled in one of those courses (since they usually have only 1 section). If that's the case, or if there is some other topic that you're particularly interested in but DePauw doesn't offer (most likely because of insufficient demand), online courses are there for you. Online courses are growing in popularity these days: they allow you to explore different kinds of topics (sometimes at your own pace) without the need to be physically present in a classroom environment (although some courses such as those at CodePath do require attendance to receive certifications).
